Tips & Inspiration to help you follow your dreams

Space clearing for change

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely and utterly ready for a few new things to come into my life!

I could do with a dollop of health and vitality.

A dash of money would really help too.

As a couple, Paul and I could do with some time without any health issues – First I had the clots and then my mom got cancer…A time of health would definitely be welcome!

And on the money front…We could do with a bit more…

I do admit, that I have days when I think I’ll never be completely well. It’s been such a long time. Days when I think that perhaps I won’t be able to have a baby.

I do admit that I have moments when I think there is no alternative way to earn money and I will be stuck doing finance forever.

What about you?

What is your heart ready for if anything was possible?

When you look around at your life and the world around you – what you do think is impossible?

Perhaps you don’t believe that your ideas are any good? Why would people want to see what you are doing and how you are doing it?

Perhaps you find yourself in a relationship that doesn’t work for you…but you’ve been stuck in it for such a long time that to you, there is no other life.

Perhaps you have a lot of debt and the jobs you get don’t pay the bills. You feel that it will always be like this.

My brother told me the other day that he thinks he will be in his job (the one he has now) until he dies. I remember a time (when we were about 18 when we laughed and bet each other who would reach their first million before the age of 30). What happened to those dreams?

THOSE DREAMS ARE STILL THERE (deep down).

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE (even though it doesn’t feel like it – think about Einstein, about jumbo jet planes that fly millions of miles, about energy healing, about technology – anything is possible!!)

First though we need to clear some space…to find the dreams…to clear the past….to see who we really are and what we can achieve.

We can clear some space physically – with a good spring clean, a tidy, a good filing session and a throw out of anything which doesn’t work (or fit anymore)

I first read about space clearing when I was about 20 and living in South Africa – a lady called Denise Linn wrote a book called Sacred Space. It revolutionised my thinking.

“Our homes are mirrors of ourselves. Through them we can interface with the universe.” Everything in the universe is composed of constantly changing energy, including your home and its contents. This energy can profoundly influence your ability to be healthy, loving, creative and abundant. By clearing and enhancing this energy you can transform your home into a sanctuary which radiates positive energy in ever-expanding circles. In this fascinating and unusual book, Denise Linn shows you how you can dramatically change your life by changing the environment in your home or office. She combines information from her own Native American heritage with material she has personally collected from native traditions around the world to bring you practical, easy-to-use exercises for balancing the physical, emotional and spiritual energies in your home.

Sooo, this weekend Paul and I got down and dirty…we went through all of our clothes and threw out (to charity) everything we don’t use or that doesn’t fit. We changed cupboards (works much better!). We cleared out our bedside tables.

It’s amazing how much of my past lived in my bedside table.

We went through our food stocks and did the same (how many bottles of vinegar does one couple need?)

Then we hit the sitting room cupboard – I’d forgotten how much fun stuff we have in there. Sketch pads, an Italian language course, Paul’s map of his dream trip in a land rover around Iceland and also Italy. Enough writing paper to sink a battle ship.

We cleared. We threw out. We cleaned.

Really and truly, there was no conscious plan to make some space. We just felt like it was time for a good old clean, for order, for simplicity – and once we had started it felt soo good that we just wanted to go on and on and on.

It was great. I can highly recommend it.

It was our first gesture to ourselves and to the world that we are READY for the NEW.

Bring it on.

Dream On everyone:-)
