It’s the beginning of the year and we have all of our hopes and expectations for this year.
We also have all of our stresses and worries.
If you’re anything like me you worry a lot… (Perhaps that’s just me?)
I am determined that this year is going to be more about love, joy and celebration and not about worry and stress!
I know from experience that worry and stress are not good for you; they sit in your mind, take up mental space and take away the energy you need to live the life that you want to live.
So, do me a favour, write down a list of all of your stresses. The top ten if you have a long list.
Then, look at each stress.
1. Is it something you can control?
2. Is it your responsibility or someone elses responsibility?
3. Is the stress coming from your own expectation? Are you putting pressure on yourself for something that isn’t what you really want or believe in?

My mom’s health; that is out of my control. I can care (alot) and I can help, but at the end of the day I can’t directly change my Mom’s health. My health is in my control and I can do things to change that both physically and mentally.
I am currently not earning much money but am building a new foundation for a different work life. While I would love to earn a living from my things, that’s too much pressure to put on myself at the moment. So I am massively happy and proud to be touching people all around the world with my blog. Little steps.
In terms of expectations – what is really important to you? What do you believe in? These are the important expectations.
Be kind to yourself and let go of worry and stress, where ever you can.
I believe that we can change our mental habits!
If you take away mental worry and stress, they leave space for GOOD things to come to you.
